Notes BBC recording of a radio broadcast. 12" record from George Formby's own collection: "Zip Goes A Million", a BBC live recording (30 minute programme) from the Palace Theatre, Manchester, dated September 1951. From the British Light Programme and British Forces Network in Germany. Formby had this pressed privately just for his reference, and it is believed the BBC no longer have this show in their archives. Side 1 - excerpt from live performance of "Zip Goes A Million": includes songs 'Saving Up For Sally', 'The Thing I Love About You Baby', 'Ordinary People'.
