Notes

Album was made by Ronco, supposedly in support of the "Do It Now" Foundation, an anti-drug awareness group in the Los Angeles area. It is NOT to be confused with the album Do It Now did to fund their beginning. That was titled "First Vibrations". One of the five or so tracks the two have in common is "Nowhere man" which is unusual in that it was one of very few appearances by the Beatles on a compilation album.

The song I remember that slowed down on this LP was the B J Thomas cut (A4)

I'll never forget as a teenager, playing my copy of this album, and during Steam's "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)", the speed steadily slowing down?!? Sounded like a 45 rpm single starting out at 45 rpm and slowing down 2 33 1/3rd by the end??!!

Insanely good collection of tunes...too bad the LP was sooooo "groove-crammed"...if I remember correctly, this is the LP where "Na, Na, Hey, Hey" grinds down to almost a halt...John...(...and yes, finding any of the Beatles EMI catalogue on any non- Capitol comp. LP was a rarity....though I did have a Columbia(CBS) LP with a snippet of "I Want To Hold Your Hand"...didn't keep it though)
