Notes

Recorded one night in 1959 by Jonathan Winters while making a cigarette commercial. He went into free-form improvisation and it was recorded. Due to the "blue" nature of the material, this was never meant for release, but someone pressed a number of LPs from the tape. Blank labels, with only an "A" or a "B" in the dead wax, denoting the sides.

I added a picture of an acetate of this material that was sold on ebay in 2013. There is no larger version, sorry.

U know Kevin Walsh1, it would be cool if you'd upload your blank labels as they are a variant 2 what I've uploaded?!? And does your copy have the tracks by Phyllis Diller, Freddy Cannon, Della Reese or Percy Faith?!? I didn't find them in my copy, so I'm guessing mine was pressed/bootlegged from another source...

That other site has a much more detailed track listing. But again, we're dealing with a heavily bootlegged release, so who knows 4 sure?!?

I have two copies of this, both with blank labels. The previous owner of one had typed a track listing, which I’ve uploaded here.

Cover scans and label scans added from my copy.

This is definitely Jonathan Winters. His occasional profanity and his politically incorrect impersonations of black people and gay people would not have been suitable 4 those 1960's Verve albums or radio (then or now). One listen, and it becomes perfectly clear why his name wasn't clearly spelled out on this dubious release.
