Notes

This is the first L.P. for this Chicago group which comprised:

Patrick McBride: lead singer, harmonica
Ray Graffia: backing vocals, tambourine
Jerry Kollenberg: lead guitar
Wally Kemp: bass guitar
Craig Kemp: organ
Chic James: drummer

Four of the tunes were previously issued as 45 r.p.m. releases, particularly:
"I Confess" / "Dawn is Breaking" in November 1965 as Centaur 1201
“I Lie Awake” / "At the River's Edge" beginning in March 1966 as Centaur/Sentaur/Sentar 1202

“I Confess,” in addition to charting very well in the Chicago area from Nov. 1965 to May 1966, made the local charts throughout North America and had enough of an impact to appear on the Billboard National Charts for a four-week run debuting on Febr. 19, 1966 and peaking at 80. The flipside ("Dawn is Breaking") made the local charts in Syracuse, N.Y. in Febr. 1966 (WOLF 1490 AM).

“I Lie Awake” did well in the Chicago area in the Mar. to May 1966 period. It made sporadic local appearances thru-out North America, but to a lesser degree than "I Confess." It reached Billboard's Bubbling Under charts peaking at 111 during a four-week run that commenced on Apr. 16, 1966.

In 1966, Ronnie Rice replaced Craig Kemp and eventually became the lead singer.
