Notes

Roger Sflotsos a.k.a. Roger Nichols is a composed who co-wrote various songs with Paul Williams, Tony Asher and other lyricists. By means of this A & M disc, Mr. Nichols and Mr. Asher had co-composed many tunes, such as Don't Take Your Time, Love So Fine and Can I Go. This was the first A & M disc thru which Mr. Nichols had recorded with two other members, who were Murray MacLeod and his sister Melinda. This disc was produced by Tommy LiPuma and engineered by Bruce Botnick who had also done recording engineering work that had led to the prosperous record sales of The Butterfield Blues Band, Love and The Doors.

Despite the dedicated record producing and engineering, this A & M disc of 33.33 rpm did not sell well, but Herb Alpert had recommended that Mr. Nichols be hired a staff songwriter by A&M publishing. Shortly afterward, Mr. Nichols was introduced to his composing partner Paul Williams, who had written several prosperous tunes over the next few decades.
