Notes

The Canadian Sweethearts were a duet which consisted of Bob Regan, the guitarist and Lucille Starr, the vocalist. After Mr. Regan and Ms. Starr were married, they were called Bob and Lucille when they started to record in Canada. Their first and best remembered tune was the Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Moe tune, which was released by means of a small Los Angeles based record company: Ditto.

Around 1961, Bob and Lucille had changed their recording name to the Canadian Sweethearts, and this group had recorded a tune called No Help Wanted, which was issued by the Twin Cities based Soma record label. When Mr. Regan and Miss Starr had signed with A and M records in 1963, they had released two discs of 33.33 rpm and many discs of 45 rpm.

Though none of their recordings were prosperous in the United States, three discs of 45 rpm had peaked within the top 5 Canada hit parade of discs of 45 rpm. Finally, this disc of 33.33 rpm has become a highly sought-after disc due to the fact this A and M disc was a deficient seller.
