Scratchy45 4th Jun 2017		I have a sleeveless copy of this: no idea where I picked it up. I too was surprised on looking at it now to see the PRT label but Pye Cat#. though see it's been discussed already. Dead Wax (if it's of interest to anyone) : Side A (freehand) NSPL 18193 A1 ▲Tone Damon T "Damon T" on opposite side of label, very faint, but in same orientation as main text . Side B (also freehand) NSPL 18193 B1 ▲T

ppint. 12th Dec 2016		in pye records' defence, the label manglement must've known they'd be keeping this one in the catalogue indefinitely - pretty well forever - so whenever stock of the printed & made-up lp card sleeves ran low, they'll've had a fairly high reorder number, to take advantage of scaling on the per-sleeve price. (but it does make this ppint. wonder whether there mightn't be the odd copy of the lp with a prt label on one side, and a precision or even a pye label on t'other.)



PhilMH 10th Dec 2016		Probably a transitional pressing whilst Pye was becoming PRT in 1980, but it never ceases to amaze me in these situations how some companies manage to end up with uneven numbers of records and corresponding covers! This parallels MCA Records' purchase of ABC Records in the same time frame, where excess ABC pressings ended up inside MCA covers, or MCA pressings ended up in ABC covers! What were their production managers doing?



Focus B 10th Dec 2016		I wonder if this actually is a re-issue of a re-issue, or just pressed with PRT labels in place of PYE? Both this and "Kontroversy" have absolutely no reference to PRT on the sleeve and vice versa on the labels. As can be seen on the close up this issue of "Something Else" was re-issued by Pye in 1980. Both albums have handwritten matrix numbers.
