take your pick
Having listen all three with headphones, 1/ Broad St, background sounds muffled, 2/ film version sound best of all three, to my ears anyway, 3/ Tug of War, left channel sounds as if there’s a click in it. |

| | Well for me Ballroom Dancing on Broad Street knocks the Tug Of War version into a cocked hat. Has much more Verve & Vivacity to it compared to the monotone vocal and synthesised flat sounds on Tug Of War. The production on Broad Street may only be 2 years later but it may as well be light years away from it. |

| | This is what makes this and the other sites so good, did not know that Ballroom dancing was on any other album, I thought it was wrote for the film, did not realise it was out two years before the film album.
Question, how do you get to hear ‘Tug Of War’ version of ballroom dancing?. |

| | If you want to hear wanderlust and ballroom dancing listen to his tug of war album best versions in my opinion |

| | I agree with RC that the only good new song is the title track. The rest are re-makes of older songs, bar "Corridor Music", "Not Such A Bad Boy" and "No Values" (not forgetting "Eleanor's Dream"). Not much to get excited about really. |

| | I still enjoy Ballroom Dancing, piano at the start makes me think of the programme Super Gran. |

| | Oh great... now I have to find a copy without the innersleeve!
How many times do find a record missing the inner sleeve?
...and now I need to find a copy without one, I bet every copy I come across now is full furnished!!!!
(It'd be worth it for No More Lonely Nights anyway...My favourite McCartney solo song) |

| | Au contraire, other stand out tracks on this album would include Wanderlust, Ballroom Dancing and the whole of the 'B' Side, in particular Eleanor Rigby / Eleanor's Dream and possibly the best take ever of The Long And Winding Road. Overall I think the album stands out as one of McCartney's better efforts, certainly better than the awful Press To Play album. |

| | Found the inner sleeve for this as a stowaway in the copy of Wings Greatest I got today...
Reading the credits, I didn't realize that Dave Gilmour played guitar on No More Lonely Nights |
