Harold Melvin And The Blue Notes - D2 - Bad Luck - 8:00

I have this album, but I don't think it is a promo copy......given to me by the DJ Chris Hill, many years ago.

This track is my humble homage to the late Teddy Pendergrass (26 Mar 1950 - 13 Jan 2010 - age 59), who I had the privilege to see performing live in London around 1980/1981. He had quite a stage presence, and the ladies in the audience really knew that.

This track showcases the stellar musicianship of the MFSB orchestra and string contractors, who really stretch this out, While Teddy eulogises in his own inimitable fashion, and the Bluenotes are also very much in the mix with supporting backup vocals.......ENJOY.

p.s. the whole double album is a cracker.....
