1988 Music Master catalogue has this as a March 1985 release in the UK, which is consistent with the Elvis 50th Anniversary sticker on the front cover. Maybe in 1983 it was continental Europe only, but RCA UK decided to import copies in 1985?
The price codes box top right on rear sleeve denoted which main territories actually gave this an official release - this one wasn’t issued in the U.K. hence the blank price code.
Europe; several countries listed on the bottom left of the back cover, plus a few distribution codes at top right. RCA had centralized their European production in Germany by this point.
Just picked up some of what I assume was an ex radio DJ's collection from a charity shop. Got this LP, rare elvis Vol 1, Acuff Rose: Elvis LP and an ELO Live Lp all with demo stamps/ embossing in the sleeve corners. But this and the other rare elvis along with the embossed sleeve have BBC stickers on one side. Never seen these before, does it mean they come from BBC radio station.
