Even though this disc of 33 rpm was released in 1969, all the tunes were recorded from the year 1920 to the year 1929. Both US and UK jazz musicians had contributed their songs and talents to this LP. While this microgroove LP was issued during the time that stereophonic LPs were becoming more common, this disc of 33 rpm was solely issued monaurally due to the fact that stereophonic recordings did not exist until the late 1950s.
