Added a more clear cover of this rare Danish Beatles album only pressed in a total limited number of 3028 copies, of which 600 have been destroyed. The album was released in MONO only, even though the catalogue number may indicate 'stereo' (PMCS). The 'ESKIMO' front cover has been taken backstage at the Hammersmith Odeon during the 1964/65 Beatles Christmas shows.
Note that it has an interesting collection of tracks with only non-LP songs from EP/Singles.
Also note a mistake on the rear cover regarding listing of 'More Hot Hits', where the B-side to 'A Hard Day's Night (R 5160) is wrongly identified as 'Waitin' For You' (not a Beatles song) - should correctly have been 'Things We Said Today'.
In the liner notes to FROST-CD 0303: 'Beat Masters 1964-1967', administrator of the Danish EMI files (Bertel Dueholm) has informed, that 600 copies of the Danish 'The Beatles Hottest Hits' were sent to destruction to be burned, because the English EMI did not allow other countries to make their own compilations, which makes this album being mega rare.
