Bootleg: "The Legendary Radar Session". ('Legendary', because they were so bad, according to Robyn Hitchcock.)

The Soft Boys signed to Radar Records at the start of 1978 and early in the year, recorded what was intended as a first album for the group. Recording took place at Rockfield Studios in Wales. The LP never appeared, although Radar lifted two tracks for release on 45. This bootleg rounds up the unreleased session recordings.

TopPopper 9th Aug 2014		Just done some close listening. Side 2 of this LP has nothing to do with Radar. All the songs (bar "Look Into Your Mirror" were recorded later and turn up on the CD edition of Invisible Hits. "Look Into Your Mirror" is an early home recording, before the Radar sessions took place. So far as I know, all of side 1 is genuine Radar material. None of the versions match anything released elsewhere.
