Hi Camshaft, I just Googled L.T. Watkins print and Cello-Craft Ltd, and they are (or were) both New Zealand companies, so it looks like this is a NZ release after all!

Thanks PhilMH, as you mentioned that the companies should be on the back of the sleeve, I'm sorry to say there is no mention of it. There is however mention of 'L.T. WATKINS PRINT' bottom LH corner and on the RH bottom corner is 'Cover produced by CELLO-KRAFT LTD.'.
As noted the back sleeve seems a direct copy from an American release, showing as it does the American Music Publishers!
Many thanks for letting me know it is an Australian release.
I will try and do a better back sleeve image, but at the moment could only use a camera to do them.

Australian release seems very likely, as this Mercury PPS series was released in this country via Astor. australianrecordlabels.com has this album listed in its Astor-distributed labels listing, though only under its stereo number, 6021 (see page 52 in the link).

I can't make out the printing on the back cover, but if there's any mention of either Electronic Industries Pty. Ltd. or Radio Corporation Pty. Ltd, that would confirm it as an Australian release via Astor. I'm not sure who had Mercury in New Zealand in 1961/62, but the publishers Albert and Allans operated there too (or at least I''ve seen their stamps on other NZ releases).

Back of sleeve has on track A4; composers as Modugno & migliacci, on label it is Modugno - Modugno - Migliacci. on track B2; sleeve has composer as Karas, on label it is Koras.
The reason the sticker on the front of the sleeve says 'Don't play first tracks' is because part of the edge is slightly bent over, making it difficult to keep the stylus at the start of the record.
Don't know if it was the record press fault or the previous owner had it near some source of heat!
I am hoping this is an Australian copy, I'm only using the publishers marks on the label! It may even be a New Zealand release?
Anyone verify this album?
