Keep your money in your pocket, Sid! Status Quo have committed the ultimate obscenity, not once but twice! They took their "Down, Down" and "Whatever You Want" songs and corrupted them in rewriting as jingles for an Australian supermarket chain, Coles!
I saw a numbered tin at a boot sale last weekend but didnt want to fork out £20 for it to be honest! Cant remember the exact number but it was in the mid thousands [ie +4###] or something like that.
apparently PRO LP 1 made it to number 4 in the charts (13th Nov 82) and on the charts for 18 weeks, this is highly unlikely to be a limited release at all by any standard! My copy doesnt have a number on it.
I've had a go at these round inserts.the only problem is,due to the high auto contrast setting on my scanner, the pale blue/white mottled pattern which fills the background (and the label's)does not show up,and we have instead a bit of a "White-out".Hopefully someone else might have better luck,as usual feel free to replace any/all.Out of interest does anyone know where a Ltd edition number would be?.
