Fokeman 16th Feb 2024		This is possibly one of the finest albums I've ever listened to. The contributions by Kate Rusby & co. only add to its power. The range of moods is incredible with loud aggressive guitar and gentle, quiet acoustic tracks. I think I'd have to plump for Waverley Steps as my favourite. I could listen to that one track non-stop for an hour without being bored. Oh no, wait! Much as I love that one, "As Still As I Watch Your Grave" is the one with so much punch you have to listen to it again. Perhaps this is best on CD so you can just press the button and listen again?



nboldock 19th Jun 2017		I should probably just go ahead and rate the whole album 10/10... because it's bloody brilliant. I bought this on CD when it came out, and I didn't realise it had been released on vinyl until last week. I bought it immediately. And so should you.
