rocket666 7th Feb 2023		Gene Vogel is pseudonym for Steve Knightley for this groups' albums and tours (see sketch on label), as he was signed up elsewhere as part of his own concurrent bands.



Fokeman 29th Aug 2017		Note the early inception of "Show Of Hands". The band consisted of Bill Zorn, vocals, banjo; Phil Beer, vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, fiddle, bass; Paul Downes, vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin, mandocello; Gene Vogel, vocals, guitar, gentle buffoonery. Additonal guests were Martyn Bradley, concertina on "He Settles Down", Paul Philips, piano on "Further Along". Steve Knightley spelled correctly on sleeve but wrongly on the label.
