 Release month, cover scans, label scans and a copy of a Life Magazine ad from 1961 added. My copy has the label listed as 'Ramrod Superecords'!!

Per Page 6 of the 19 June 1961 issue of Billboard Magazine, this record would be sold thru food stores, drug stores and other retail outlets, but would never be sold at record stores!! Each album would cost $1.47 and would come with a sample tube of a product named 'Jiffy Sew', a fabric mending compound. The sample box would come glued 2 the back of the album cover. The back cover has a space with "BOX GOES HERE" printed at the top.

...If you're still reading, my 'research' (Googling) leads me 2 a page that implied that Jack Paar, Ramrod Superecords and Jiffy Sew ended up in some kinda court battle in New York in 1965-1968, but this is waaay beyond my lever of comprehension...
