nboldock 7th Dec 2013		The points system is just a simple way of measuring contributions to the Worlds. Different activities earn different points - images earn more as they are more time-consuming to do. It's just a bit of fun really, I guess. I think Orbiting Cat is the only one who truly knows all the secrets of the points system... :-)

By the way what are the points all about they don't have them way down yonder in 45.cat? I see your bigging up my images I'll try to put them in bigger from now on do I get a point for that?



Lee Wrecker ● 6th Dec 2013		This album So Alone is the perfect entry point for anyone interested in finding out what Johnny Thunders is all about. It gives you a glimpse of his history with the New York Dolls with 3 songs reworked from that era, Leave Me Alone (Chatterbox with new lyrics), a rocked up Subway Train and a very sleazy run through of Downtown. Thunders' song writing is probably at its best on this album with the single You Can't Put Your Round A Memory, It's Not Enough, and Ask Me No Questions showcasing his talent for the acoustically driven ballad. The other songs are all Heartbreakers style rockers or cover versions with a searing Pipe Line kick starting the album. Producer Steve Lillywhite and Thunders manage to put together an incredibly cohesive album with the help of litany of guests (that's another story) from the world of real rock 'n' roll. An out an out 70's rock 'n' roll classic.
