| | There'd be a problem as soon as someone finds a band called The Cast (not to mention Cast).
"The Cast Of Fawlty Towers" however would be suitable? Do we vote for that then?
I know nothing. |

| | Que?,"The Cast" (as used on the back of this LP) , is a collective term used to encompass all the actors/actresses,whose voices appear on this LP.They surely are the "Artists".Rather than listing all those involved in the Artist field, surely it would be easier to list the names in the notes so it's still searchable (i.e John Cleese),but use "The Cast" in the artists field. As long as we know only to use "The Cast" on soundtracks, then there would be no problem with links.Si? |

| | "The Cast" and similar non-specific names would create artist lists which don't mean anything and link LPs which don't belong together. I would think JPGR&Bert's suggestion is spot-on. |

gregs45s SUBS 4th Feb 2014
| | Thanks for the amendments.I do wonder though about the artist/title,should it not be "The Cast" or "Cast" for the artist, and the title "Fawlty Towers"?,i only ask as i have "Fawlty Towers - The Second Sitting" to add :).On this subject it appears that there is no real clarity about how we add soundtracks.Would it not be possible to have in the drop down menu when choosing the format (LP/10" etc) ,choices like :
Soundtrack/Film
Soundtrack/TV
Soundtrack/Stage/Show
Soundtrack/Radio
Narrative/Spoken Word
Thoughts? |
