| | In 1978 little effort was made with this record. Both the front sleeve and especially the backsleeve are very reduced, the original artwork is simply missing. Was it too "sixties" in 1978? The 2017 mono edition is much more faithful to the original. (Reprise R1 6248). Anyway: A great LP. |

| | Just to add some more details as my copy, which I bought around the mid 80's, is a little different. The 'LC 0332', next to the Reprise logo has been reduced in size and moved to just above the '33' symbol at the bottom of the label and replaces the '30,649' which has disappeared.
The GEMA logo box has now has Biem added.
In the run-off groove the matrix reads on Side 1 as:- R/S Alsdorf 24033 A X RME
Side 2;- R/S Alsdorf 24033 B2 D
Mine has just a plain white inner sleeve. There was an 'Import' sticker on the sleeve. Looks like it's from an 'Our Price' record shop?!
The sleeve is the same as featured here, though it may be worth pointing out that there is an embossed 'W' slightly left and below the 'LC 0322' on the rear bottom corner. |

| | As this has only the GEMA rights society I would list it as German, despite being exported to many countries. |

| | Just to complicate matters re the country, this is listed in the Australian Platterlog catalogue's August 1988 edition (the first one I have), showing distribution by PolyGram; that company seem to have been importing quite a few WEA releases from Europe and USA (the latter seemingly MCA label) and they were being listed alongside PolyGram's new local releases in the Platterlog weekly updates. I don't know why WEA allowed PolyGram to import these instead of doing so themselves, seeing as WEA were importing the bulk of their CD's; maybe someone who worked in Aussie retail might know (that means you, The_Vinyl_Junkie!). So, make this Int*rn*t**n*l, or leave well enough alone? |

| | Hi Beggars Road, I've sent a correction now that you've seen my comment. It is hard for us Auslanders to determine whether European albums are country or continent specific from afar. Still this is a great pressing of what is in my opinion a wildly inconsistent album. "Onie", "About A Quarter To Nine" and especially "The King Is In The Counting House" detract from some great work by the band on the rest of the album. There's great stuff on it but it's just too uneven a listen as an album to enjoy thoroughly all the way through. |

| | This type of re-releases all came in the wake of 77 Punk, Nuggets et-al providing a same-named reference point. I definitely bought this from new, using the leftmost guy's checkered trousers as a role-model in going for a more Modernist sort of Punk look..... the follies of youth. And in those days shops kept stocks over a longer period, turnover was not as important as nowadays, so years after release records could still be bought as new. |

| | Added new cover and label images but on the release date I agree with what janiejjones suggests but can't pinpoint a date. What I do know is that I bought this album between 1980-82 and the release date plastered all over the net of 1986 is definitely wrong. Their second album Underground was re-released in Australia in 1979 and it seems to make sense that this on would have appeared around the same time. |
