Keith Moon didn't replace Ringo Starr, as he had already been in That'll Be The Day along with Ringo. Adam Faith took over Ringo's role as Mike in Stardust.

Great album (and great film). Don't forget Stray Cats [Stardust] included Keith Moon in the film but I don't think he actually appears on the recordings here. Ringo Starr was in the original film "That'll Be The Day" but turned down the part in the follow up and Keith was quick to volunteer to fill his place.

If you haven't seen the film Jim Maclaine (credited with four tracks on this album) is David Essex, Jim being the role he plays in the film..

Some good stuff on here - wonder if it will ever be re-released on CD. My copy's well played.

This might well be a charity shop regular (and isn't it just), but there are some great tracks on it! Well worth having in the collection.
