Notes Gatefold sleeve. Tracks from the movie soundtrack.
"The Stray Cats" are a fictional band featured in the film. On the record, they are primarily a Dave Edmunds vehicle.
Images Comments and Reviews Burton LeB SUBS28th Dec 2020 Keith Moon didn't replace Ringo Starr, as he had already been in That'll Be The Day along with Ringo. Adam Faith took over Ringo's role as Mike in Stardust. sladesounds 25th Jul 2017 Great album (and great film). Don't forget Stray Cats [Stardust] included Keith Moon in the film but I don't think he actually appears on the recordings here. Ringo Starr was in the original film "That'll Be The Day" but turned down the part in the follow up and Keith was quick to volunteer to fill his place.
If you haven't seen the film Jim Maclaine (credited with four tracks on this album) is David Essex, Jim being the role he plays in the film.. My copy's well played. nboldock 18th Oct 2013 This might well be a charity shop regular (and isn't it just), but there are some great tracks on it! Well worth having in the collection.
