Track 1 is the introduction to the gig by Tony Capstick. I suppose strictly speaking the track should be credited to him.

I was a sales representative at Transatlantic Records (who distributed Rubber records) and we held our annual sales meeting in Newcastle in Sep/Oct ? 1975.
On the first evening we were taken to the centre of Newcastle to see Mike Harding perform live in a pub, and very entertaining he was as usual
Next day we held our sales meeting at the Holiday Inn, outside Newcastle, with Sales Manager Ray Cooper officiating, and during the sales presentation, Mike Harding appeared and all of the sales reps and other staff got a free tin of Uncle Joe's Mint Balls, same as the tin which is shown on the LP sleeve above........my memory is a bit sketchy about the exact timing of each event, but I do remember taking a Sauna bath with the other reps, and then a cold dip in the swimming pool of the hotel, and then coming home to London from Newcastle by road with a Holiday Inn bath towel for free, if you know what I mean.

I enjoyed sharing the Uncle Joe's Mint Balls with family and friends, and then the tin disappeared, my then wife of one year having chucked it in the bin.....

Track lists differ on label and sleeve
sleeve makes no mention of Rochdale Cowboy/Deck Of Cards
but having just listened to the album Rochdale Cowboy/Deck Of Cards is track 2 or is it part of track 1?
