kab2112 SUBS 3rd Apr 2017		We saw Johnny Cougar way back then before he became famous. He was the support act at a Liverpool Empire show ( Don't remember the headline act) - Back in those days, the North West Theatres such as the Liverpool Empire and the Manchester Apollo crowds used to give many of the support acts a hard time, constantly heckling etc. About 2-3 songs into his performance, Johnny Cougar stopped the band and said something like "F* you all" and stormed of the stage. Another night for a Wishbone Ash concert, the support act was a band called Supercharge and when they came on, the singer came to the front of the stage and said that if they didn't want to watch them the crowd should "F* Off to the bar until Wishbone Ash came on". This seemed to go down well as they then got a good reception. AAAAH!!! those were the days.
