Only one other of his songs that really hit home with me......"The princess of San Jose" most beautiful song I ever heard! | funky navigator 22nd Jun 2014 | This record is stunning and one of my favourites in my collection both for the quality of music and it's apparent rarity. Although musically somewhat different, I compare it to the two Sixto Rodriguez LPs. If you see it, buy it without hesitation. | |
| jaimeeduardo 24th Jan 2014 | Published ca. 1980. Catalogue no. appears only on container spine. B1 is the best selection. Interesting is the use of interview tapes mixed with the guitar and vocal of Reyes. The songs capture the mood/the issues facing Chicanos at the time. Though social commentary is emphasized here, Chicano Man is also most relaxing and worth repeated hearings. | |
