MM,
originals seem to be around 300$/€, and there seem to be re-issues from the 00s which may or may not be legit. When my copy was made I have no idea (the guy who sold it to me for about a tenner also thought it was boot/fake), look and feel are early 80s. Definitely not a real 68 Mainstream from the US, as they would have the thick, paper lined card cover, labels should be light blue (not grey), and runouts etched (with the KY# from label), not stamped. But as you said, tracks are great, so what? BTW, I had to look them up on discogs, never heard about them at all before.
Never heard of these before... but the songs in the vids are great.
Is there a legitimate version of this janie?
(Have to say, the back cover and label scans look fairly authentic... cat#s, publishing credits etc... what would be the difference between a bootleg and a home-made style label release?).
Looks like a European fake, very worn out due to age, so no idea if the pressing was sub-standard. Strangely the labels seem to be manually glued on.
