#gian_paolo: good grief! - <fx: rhetorical> ''why ?'' - </fx>
- well, that is actually slightly more sensible than shuffling around the lp's contents would've been, which would've taken creating completely new metal masters etc, for pressing the .nl lp, and cost ££/fl.fl.fl.fl...
(i've met swapping the entire first and second sides for one another before, a couple of times - the first spooky tooth album comes to mind, where it actually made some kind of sense to play the album from the relatively weak start through to the strongest conclusion: but that cost naught extra...)
@ppint.: actually the album plays the UK running order, labels are completely wrong where the back cover gives the usual right running order. I had sent a message to moderation but got no reply...so now let you to decide which running order is better leave here. This version was actually reprinted with corrected labels
track a4 composer is mis-spelled as well as incorrect: it should have been "a. (for "adam") de la halle";
he was mis-given as "a. della halle" on the original uk album, and was here further transmogrified into
"a. della halls"; the title has also been "improved", from "adam's toon" to "adams tune";
track a5's composer's surname was corrected to "tawney" from the ''tawny'' of the original uk album;
track b1 title is tyopped "rool" on the label: as this is not a literal, just a simple error, is it not ok to leave the listing as was doubtless intended - ?
n.b. the track running order on the labels differs significantly from that of the original uk album.
