Generally, long tracks, over 4 minutes. Only Track 1 on each side less than 4 minutes. Had album in my collection for several years, bought new only a year or so after issue but bought in Newcastle Australia as an import.
Jr Walker and the All Stars were a proper band, and initially recorded as such - which was unusual for Motown, who used their studio band for practically all artists. It was around 1968 that the group were stopped from recording, and replaced in-studio by the Funk Brothers (after the success of "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)".) So, from 1969 onwards they existed only as a live stage band, although they were still billed on the records. I don't know much about the number of gigs they would have performed in the 70s, but in 1975 Walker officially went solo, so I guess that was the end of the act.
This album was his first to be billed as a solo LP.

Hmmm, no-one else seems to have picked up on this one since I posted it in January. Where I said Not exactly sure when Jr. Walker(real name: Autry DeWalt) parted company with his "All-Stars" has not yet elicited a response. I'll watch to see if anyone does post something on this album some time or other.
I took all the composer credit info from the back cover. Not exactly sure when Jr. Walker(real name: Autry DeWalt) parted company with his "All-Stars", someone may have that info, if so, please add it in comments. So I'm not sure if there are any of his solo albums prior to or after this one. Pick of the tracks: Track A2 is one of his best and he does a really good instrumental version of Until You Come Back To Me, the old 1967-68 Stevie Wonder song. I wonder if there are any other copies of this one floating around.
