Notes

This version differs from another similar release in that it has the "Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here" circular "badge" on the upper left of the front cover. The badge has an image of two robot hands shaking hands, over four quadrants of different elements, surrounded by the following text in the circumference ring:
"SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND·WELCOME TO THE MACHINE·HAVE A CIGAR·WISH YOU WERE HERE SBP 234651 ℗ © 1975 Pink Floyd Music Limited"
"SBP 234651" is upside down relative to the other text in this ring.
Released in a gatefold sleeve, and includes a postcard with an expanded version of the Mono Lake photograph inside the gatefold. On the reverse of the postcard is written in the upper left:
'"WISH YOU WERE HERE"
"OJALA ESTUVIERAS AQUI"
"ICH WUNSCHTER DU WARST HIER"

The label art replicates (but not exactly) the image of the robot hands shaking from the badge on the front cover, in black and white, over a black and steel-blue background, with images of two small pyramids at 9 o'clock, and a small yellow circle at 3 o'clock.

In the side A runout matrix no., "53" in "MX17475343" is crossed out, and "54-1" in "SBP234654-15-1" is crossed out.

Catalog no.s are displayed as follows:
- SBP 234651 on front cover, spine and labels
- SQP 234651 and PCQ 33900 on inside of gatefold
- PC 33453 on labels

Quad5point1 2nd Apr 2016		It would appear that your Chappell publishing issue is the 2nd Stereo pressing. 1st Press Stereo = Penjane 1st Press SQ Quad = Penjane 2nd Press Stereo = Chappell Info can be found here

Lee Wrecker 2nd Apr 2016		The copy I have uploaded for moderation has a few differences, - SBP 234651 and PC 33900 on inside of gatefold (see added image) - Labels list Chappell rather than Penjane as publisher (see added label images) - Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout Groove Etched): * MX174743C SBP234651-1 - Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout Groove Etched): * MX174744D SBP234651-2 So the copy I have uploaded lists Penjane Music (Aust.) as publishers on the inside of gatefold and Australasia as country/region and has PC 33900. Whereas Whassup's original posting is the same but has PC 33453. The matrices on my copy have a C or D after the MX # and are etched whereas Whassup's are stamped and don't have a Cor D trailing the number. Finally, my label lists Chappell as publishers and Whassups lists Penjane. So whatever happens in the Moderation process both Whassup's Sleeve Right and all the labels will need to stay. After all that I'm left wondering whether I have picked up a hybrid copy as the PC#s and publisher details from my inner sleeve to label don't match. Any Floydophiles out there that can help out?

Whassup 14th Jan 2016		I have a second copy of this album with only 2 visible differences: SBP 234651 and PC 33453 on inside of gatefold (See added image) Side A groove matrix looks like it used to be MX174753 stamped but the 5 has been over written and replaced with a hand scratched 4. Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout Groove Stamped): * MX174743. SBP234651-1 Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout Groove Stamped): * MX174744 SBP234651-2 I presume that this is also a 1975 1st issue pressing for Australia.
