YankeeDisc SUBS 21st Jun 2014		I of course got this in UK as a US import, being an importer so "hip to the trip" lol, but it is a good album and she obviously knew people in the biz, just look at the credits. Later, in about 1988, I spun the track "Ooh Child" from the LP at a family house party and my then teenage niece was very impressed that her mother's brother had a cool record that she had heard and loved in a film played at the end credits (dunno which film? never seen it, maybe there was another film with the same track in). (The film was "Over the Edge", from 1979.) I picked up a copy of the album in CD about 2006, but that has gone missing now. Album sleeve printed and made by "Shorepak by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd., England"



sladesounds 21st Jun 2014		All Music Review by Rob Caldwell Her first full-length solo album continued her musical involvement with Lowell George and the members of Little Feat, which had begun three years earlier when she was a member of the band Howdy Moon. It also featured a stellar cast of other musicians, including Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, and John Hall. The album is at once funky and folksy, blending a variety of styles, from the haunting acoustic sounds of "Face of Appalachia" to the jazzy blues of "Back to Blue Some More." "Ooh Child" was featured very effectively at the end of the 1979 teen rebellion movie Over The Edge.
