The SP just signifies a pressing by Specialty Records Corporation of Olyphant, PA. (no relation to Specialty Records of Little Richard fame), which later became WEA Manufacturing; similarly, the PR and RI on other copies indicate pressings by Presswell (PR), and PRC Recording Company of Richmond, IN (RI).
Gatefold scans, back cover scan and Side 2 label variant scan added. The album's fancy cover design has 2 gatefolds, and the Side 2 label variant matches TheJudge's image #514988.
Added circa 1974 labels with Elektra/Asylum/Nonesuch Records rim text, with the old Elektra address at Columbus Circle; cover still has original distributed by Atlantic details. Monarch deltas on my copy are 17398/17398X. I imagine there would be later copies with the same design and La Cienega Boulevard, L.A., address plus the (W) logo, and then the 80s black and orange design.
