delooper 28th Jan 2014		Working on it PhilMH. Can't find this title, but there were a bunch of other Pickett LP's around 1967 through Festival. 1971 looks a reasonable date, judging by MX number and surrounding issues.



PhilMH 27th Jan 2014		Yes, sorry Lee, I should have mentioned that Festival's catalogue number would have been different. Hopefully Michael de Looper will get around to putting the post-1961 Festival Lp's on australianrecordlabels.com one day, but at the moment all we've got is Discogs and the Australian Chart Books (and I don't have the pre-1970 book yet, but I doubt that this would have charted anyway).



Lee Wrecker 27th Jan 2014		I picked it up at a garage sale so no loss with it not being an original release but I think we'll have to stick to the cat# date for now as that is the policy (I think) of the site. Thanks for looking in.



PhilMH 27th Jan 2014		Hi Lee, even though this has the same catalogue number as the 1967 US original, this is probably a reissue for Australia, as Atlantic was manufactured and distributed by Festival until late 1970, before switching to Kinney Music, at that time manufactured and distributed by Australian Record Company (their matrix numbers are on the labels). So, 1970 or later for this issue, unfortunately australianrecordlabels.com and Discogs don't list it (they don't list the Festival issue either, presuming there was one).
