A1: LONELY AGAIN is the complete version of this song featuring an INTRO not present on the single release MGM K 13814.
B5: ANYTIME was first recorded by Connie Francis on July 11th, 1959 and included in the album MGM E/SE COUNTRY & WESTERN GOLDEN HITS. The above compilation features a second recording cut on December 8th, 1965. That same session also produced the tracks I WISH I HAD A WOODEN HEART, IVORY TOWER and ROOM FULL OF ROSES, all of which had release delayed for 19 months.
MGM E/SE 4487 MY HEART CRIES FOR YOU was the last commercial Connie Francis album issued on the BLACK/MULTI label and pressed in both mono and stereo formats, although some promotion LPs continued to be made available in both. From Summer 1967, the BLACK/MULTI label was replaced with a blue and gold design featuring a modern lion logo. Several back catalog BLACK/MULTI editions were reissued as BLUE/GOLD items and will be entered on the 45worlds site under their original catalog numbers when available.
I have further added cleaner scans of the front and back of the LP cover.
