This is the first LP in the series not to be recorded by Pickwick. The songs here (and for the rest of the series) were leased from Coombe Music, and so the LPs were able to expand to 16 tracks each.

Several of the recordings from here on would also appear on the rival label Chevron's "Parade of Pops" albums.
