ReviewWhat a great album, and I think it`s one of my favourite albums from the TOTP series and I was 17 years old when I bought from Woolworths and I still got it and I will treasure forever and I think now can be very hard to find and probably very rare now,but I do like the front album cover so much best of all.
Top of the Poppers is a name which was sometimes used on albums such as "Top of the Poppers Sing & Play the Beatles Golden Hits". So it is a recognised identity for the studio group(s) but none of the 92 standard albums use the name, except occasionally in the sleeve notes, and the "Poppers" never get billing on the front covers or labels. As you say, you have to look closely to find it here, so I think it's best to leave this as an anonymous release, like the rest of the series.
If you look closely on the notes on the back of the cover, it says that the sound and more are lovingly recreated by the Top Of The Poppers. I'm sure that is a legitimate name for the studio musicians?
