Had a little listen to this earlier (just a skip through really)...
...And the best way to describe it is as comedy German pub folk (slightly rock-ish), with a dash of the old squeeze box.
...And while I don't speak German, I recognised the familiar tune of Nancy Sinatra's: These Boots Are Made For Walking (Hence the Hazlewood credit) (Die Stiefel Sind Zum Wandern), which was quite amusing, and I really wanted to hear their rendition of The Beatles: "Michelle", which actually quite lends itself to the instrumentation and style these chaps have (after all McCartney I think wrote it with a lean towards that French kind of feel - but here done in a Germanic style).. and this is sung in German and English.
quite funny, not quite the catastrophe I was expecting, although I'm not sure it's something I'd go out of my way to recommend (Beatles completists may express an interest).
Usually, in the course of my bin-diggery, I pull all the records out I intend to buy, and any that I just want to have a look at purely for interest's sake (these usually go back into the bin once curiosity is satisfied, so I can spread my pennies over a wider selection of charity shops...
This particular album was considered part of the latter category, but having marched up to the counter with my buys, and got home with them, I discovered this was among them... some kind of German comedy I believe.
I'll give it a spin anyway, and see what it's about... just for a wheeze :)
