Joehilllouis 6th Nov 2014		Brilliant first solo LP and a much needed back to the roots album for the time. Some of the greatest Chuck Berry covers ever !! Especially Sweet Little Rock & Roller. Ill keep in line with the 1971 release date. Others sources mention 1972. Rockpile was the first solo album by Dave Edmunds. It is principally focused on remakes of late 1950s and early 1960s hits, with a few new songs included. Edmunds plays almost all the instruments except for bass and backing vocals, which are contributed by John Williams, Edmunds' former bandmate in Love Sculpture. (Wiki)
