Vinyl Album
Notes This is the second album by this West German beat group. It contains a nice cover version of Johnny Kidd’s “Shakin´ All Over,” a cool reading of “Que Sera Sera,” some blues tunes and the self-penned-hit-single “Poor Boy.” The latter having been written by the band’s lead guitarist Klaus-Peter Lietz. The Lords were formed in Berlin in 1959. In 1964 they won a Beat-Band-Competition in Hamburg. The original band members were: Ulrich Günther – Vocals Klaus-Peter Lietz – Lead guitar Rainer Petry – Rhythm guitar Knut Kuntze – Bass (replaced by Bernd Zamulo) Peter-Max Donath – Drums The Lords were the steadiest German beat band.
