MGM label - "SMM" Series

The above all-Japanese album with its distinctive sleeve featuring a picture of Connie in a kimono sporting a geisha hair-do, is one of the world's most important Connie Francis record releases.

There are two separate recordings of LOOKING FOR LOVE sung in Japanese. The above track is an adaptation of the rock version to be found on USA LP MGM E/SE 4229, and was recorded February 28, 1964. On May 23, 1964, Connie recorded a beat version, with similar treatment to the USA singles recording of this title released on MGM K 13256. That Japanese version also goes under the title HEART DE KISS.
