True story: Back around 1968-1969, I heard the song "Ame Caline ("Soul Coaxing") on the radio, and the D.J. didn't give the name of the song or the artist. So I'm wondering who did the song?!? I'm around 12 years old, and I go 2 record shops and try 2 hum the song and many people look at me like I have a turd on my forehead. I soon give up trying 2 hum this song 2 people, but this tune sticks in my mind 4 the next 20 years or so. Around 1990, I'm in bed listening 2 late night AM radio, and THAT TUNE comes on!! I sprung out of bed like the house was on fire, praying that the D.J. would say the name of this tune, AND HE DID!! Oh, finally, what a relief it was, TWENTY YEARS with that tune in my head and not knowing what it was or who it was by!! the next morning, I actually called-in sick 2 my job, and went directly 2 a local Washington DC oldies record shop and they had a copy of the 45 rpm single!! I probably played it like 8 times in a row!!
