This is the Australian first issue of this compilation, issued one year(roughly) after the British issue. The album was released at least twice more in Australia, first as a "Drum" series issue in 1974, then as an Axis release in 1982.
I got quite a few yank 45s like that! Some dullard bores a hole in them(wouldn't even need a drill, he's so "boring" - ha-ha) and they are then rendered as "remaindered stock" and sold off at canary prices (cheep-ly! ha-ha)
Okay, you got rid of the raddish effect! The green Columbia label colour would've been used right through the 1970s up to the point when Sony(formerly CBS) started using the Columbia name here after EMI "retired" their Columbia" brand in the late 1980s(a bad move as there was a great deal of history wrapped up in that brand, and the HMV brand which formed the two flagship labels of EMI. By rights EMI should've kept the labels active, here and in England). The green label was for general issues though other colours were used for other special releases through the 70s, then they switched to orange in the early 1980s for general issues while still using other colours, including green, for other special issues.
You've been eating radishes again, RC, haven't you? You're repeating yourself.... repeating yourself.... repeating yourself.... repeating yourself.... repeating yourself....!(ha-ha) Anyway, though it looks like a mid-70s issue, it is from 1971 and follows, by roughly a year, the British Regal/Starline issue.
As stated in notes, this is the Australian first issue of this album, submitted for purpose of comparison with the British, 1970 release, and the later Australian Axis re-issue. If anyone has a British MFP version or an Australian issue with the "Drum" logo on it, please upload it. RC, note the label colour, a dingy green(not an appetising shade, ay!).
