George Slv 10th Jun 2018		RocknRollArchivist: This LP version of Lizzie at 2:09 is not the single version which is 2:25. See the Canadian single for an audio link. The single ends with "be your lover man" while the album ends "wanna marry you". Are reissues using the album version?



RocknRollArchivist 19th May 2018		This LP contains only 10 sides of singles (from 20 sides issued on 10 singles), whereas the tracks A2 and A4 are first issued. "Dizzy, Miss Lizzy" is same as on single 626 (45rpm), it runs 2:09. For those who are interested in versions of "Dizzy, Miss Lizzy": 1. By unknown reason the 78rpm single 626 (shellac 10") contains another take of song, running 2:22. This "78rpm master" was reissued in bootleg LP Specialty SP 2225, and its extended version (2:50) was included in double CD Ace CDCH2 1021 (2004). 2. Another alternate take (running 2:44) was issued on LP Specialty SP 2162 (1986). 3. Only 45rpm/LP master is strongly finished by final chord, whereas two other takes are faded-out.



George Slv 18th Apr 2016		My copy would be a reissue. Dizzy, Miss Lizzy is a different recording from the single, inferior. Makes me wonder if he rerecorded some others for the 1959 album as well, because some of them are terrible vocals. Bony Moronie is the long edit.
