Fokeman 16th Nov 2023		The whole album is a pure delight to listen to. I used to find it frequently and for almost nothing. It's a great album full of superb songs and no less interesting because each track is on the compilation.

TopPopper 7th Feb 2015		Apparently it wasn't released in stereo. There seem to be different versions around, in an effort to improve the artificial stereo mix, but an authentic stereo version seems to be unavailable. Strange, considering this is one of the key recordings of its era.



Neil Forbes 7th Feb 2015		Procul Harum's Whiter Shade Of Pale, was there an actual proper stereo mix of this? Because in just about any compilation you see it included, it's always this so-called "electronically re-processed for stereo" version which always turns up. Makes me wonder if it ever was done in stereo at all.



Focus B 21st Jul 2014		The labels state which tracks have been electronically reprocessed for stereo. "A Whiter Shade of Pale" is one of them and sounds absolutely horrible. The tracks in true stereo are of excellent quality however.



RecordDragon 21st Jul 2014		Wonder how many of these tracks are actually in stereo? Procol Harum's track wasn't released in stereo until just a few years ago.
