philmh: possibly because their decca-labelled "product" couldn't be exported to those territories anyway; the cat# key-letter code system was primarily for decca's internal use, plus that of their wholesalers, licencees and music corpses associated with decca ltd.

I have to wonder why Decca bothered adding the letter R (for Restricted, in terms of export) to some, but not all, releases on the label, when just about everything couldn't be exported to the Americas, Japan, and other territories where US Decca/MCA Inc. and their licensees held the rights to the Decca name.

Two more label variants added: apart from the tracklist layout differences, these also show the cat# as just SPA.14, although the sleeve is the same, with SPA-R 14. So, SPA.14 added to Cat#s.
