Year Of Decision - track B4 - TOM MOULTON EXTENDED MIX - 8:50
....as soon as the Fender Rhodes piano and the guitar kicks in, I'm on board with this super lope-along tune, showcasing the cream of Philadelphia's session musicians, and The Three Degrees at the top of their game, with sexy little ad-libs.
I immediately fell in love with this tune, when I heard the album as a new release, back in November 1973....and have always enjoyed listening to the track....it all fits together so seamlessly, with that loping Hustle beat.....nice one....
scratchy: but 'twould look at least a little odd, that photo shrunk down to single-cover height and then stretched out to double-cover width - plus inside-spine! - in landscape alignment: the three degrees would all be half the height° - and more than double the width!°°
° - or a little less
°° - shades of christopher priest's stunning "inverted world"!!!...
Cover scans added, including complete gatefold inner and outer, For what it's worth I prefer the full-gatefold sleeve image as widescreen rather than pillarbox, which is how it is here.
