In fact the tracks A1, A5, B3, B5 were originally recorded in stereo. Track B6, originally recorded and released in mono, was overdubbed in stereo. Tracks B1 and B4, originally recorded and released in mono, were electronically enhanced for stereo.
Re "Kansas City" (track A6): that is the first issue of the first version of song (recorded in 13 September 1955), close to the original version written by Leiber & Stoller. The second version of "Kansas City" (recorded in 29 November 1955), very different from the first one and including the words "Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey", is much more known, being released in Spring 1959 on third Little Richard's Specialty album "The Fabulous Little Richard" and as single. This second version has been covered by The Beatles for their album "Beatles For Sale" and re-called (since the second pressing of this album) "A medley: Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey". In fact the song "Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey" was recorded by Little Richard six months after the 2nd version of "Kansas City", but released ahead of it, in January 1958.
Three tracks were overdubbed by instruments in 1970: A5 in 19 February, A1 and B6 in 1 September. So these tracks differ from the ones previously issued on singles.
