As I zoomed in on the label I was right

Yes, RC, there was a prolonging of the track beyond the time the single played for by means of an extended instrumental "bridge" and the end of the track was also stretched(so I believe). It's a safe bet the extended version is on this album as it is, after all, the title track.

Getting of track here (yes I made a pun) I heard a extended version of A1 years ago I wonder if it be from this album

Was that Kraftwerk track "Autobahn", RC? They really were driven to record it!(ha-ha)

Haha and speaking of Kraftwerk I have a vivid memory seeing the advert for the compilation album called whopper that song featured on

Does that mean they were "flushed" with success, RC?(guffaw)

RC, it's not Roulette you need to watch but Vertigo you need to keep your eyes on.... or off(ha-ha).

SR 42023 ay? One number short of a palindrome(reads the same, forward or backward). Title track is last of(or near to last of) the psychedelic era.

 Added cover and label images.

This appears to be a 1981 re-issue of Crimson & Clover with a different catalog number. Crimson & Clover was originally released in 1969 on catalog number SR 42023. The only differences I can see between the two releases is that the last track on each side have been swapped ("Do Something To Me" and "I'm Alive") and the music publisher credits for "Do Something To Me" are different between the two releases.
