Blimey, They never learn do they, barely any of the 50s rock n rollers ever improved on any of their original cuts. Only one springs to mind, Johnny Guitar Watson's 60s recut of 'Gangster of love, on King, which is far superior to his 50s cut.
I have a cheapo rock n roll cd, bought for the car. All good well known songs, the Sun stuff is fine, but there are about 4 or 5 Little Richard recuts of his Specialty masterpieces which are unbelievably bad with saxes that should be heard behind Otis Redding or Arthur Conley and the like, not good, no solid Specialty style riffing anywhere to be heard.

Only 3 Mercury hits here. The others were failed attempts or rerecordings of his 1950s hits.
