there was - or there appeared to be - a uk stateside dunhill label for singles - which was quite commonly so-referred to at the time; but though orange, and though in its own dunhill-reserved sequence of stateside cat#s, this doesn't appear to be quite a stateside dunhill lp, not exactly... that seems to've lasted 'til ~SSL 5018 - and this is a continuation of that sequence, and still reserved for dunhill recordings. . .
- huh. yr hmbl srppnt.'ll argue either way if offered cool/cold pint(s) of cider. . .
Have to agree with Lee re the label. The closest this gets to having a Dunhill "label" is "A Dunhill Recording" on the alternate front cover, but the record labels are clearly Stateside only.
mod edit: agreed and changed.
Linked to Malaysian copy (my old worse for wear and tear copy before I sold it) which also has the Dunhill logo but I think the label should be Stateside and not Stateside Dunhill as it is listed here. There is no Stateside Dunhill label that I'm aware of or is there? The back cover does say released by Dunhill Records in the USA but that is not this release. This an EMI (UK) manufactured record on the Stateside label as far as I can see.
