charlie 45 19th Feb 2015		My copy Is ST 2712 and looks like the original Capitol label. Pretty sure its "67"



LouisSidney 20th Sep 2013		I have the "King And I" soundtrack with the same label (SW-8-0740) which I ordered around 1969 to the Citadel Record Club (Longines).



W.B.lbl 20th Sep 2013		Sho' iz (as they'd say) . . . this copy (of an LP originally released 1967) was pressed after 1969 (based on the lime green label with "modern" Capitol logo), and the dead giveaway that this is a record club copy is: a) the "Manufactured under license..." text (Capitol sold its record club to Longines in late 1968), b) the three diagonal stripes at the top right of the back cover, and c) the pressing itself, by Decca/MCA's Pickneyville, IL plant (pressings from which, up to the end of 1972, were identified by etched or stamped '2' markings) with lacquers from "the Tower."
